Efficacy studies
State-of-the-art services
The Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) of Harrison Clinical Research has 6 intensive care beds and 30 beds for short-term stays (several days), of which 18 can be used for long-term stays (several weeks).
The unit performs state-of-the-art services in Phase I-IIa, from first administration to man, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, bioequivalence, special population and efficacy studies through to large out-patient studies, for example, vaccination studies and food science studies.

- peripheral arterial occlusive disease
- hepatic and renal failure
- end-stage renal disease, with dialysis
- hyperlipidaemia
- diabetes mellitus both insulin dependant and independant
- post-menopause
- obesity
- geriatrics
- osteoarthritis/arthrosis
- rheumatoid arthritis
- low back pain
- growth hormone deficiency
- psoriasis
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- allergic asthma, allergy, rhinitis
- common infectious diseases
