Werner Stilmant, Managing Director, HCR Benelux

Harrison Clinical Research is pleased to announce the appointment of Werner Stilmant to the position of Managing Director of the newly relocated HCR Benelux office, in Brussels. In this position he will take on the day to day running of the Benelux office and our training subsidiary the European Centre for Clinical Research Training (ECCRT), leaving Benedikt van Nieuwenhove capacity for his international duties as Vice President Global Operations and Dr. Harrison's deputy.

Werner Stilmant was born in 1970, in Mortsel, Belgium and after receiving his Masters degree in Biology, he has held positions in clinical research, quality assurance and logistics for the companies Janssen, Roche, Quintiles-Innovex, Philips and Schering-Plough. After completing an international MBA, where he specialised in improving the cold chain within the pharmaceutical industry, Werner Stilmant has worked as Head of Supply Chain Management and Director of Special Projects for the transport logistics company Panalpina. His experiences make him well versed in the challenges that the Managing Director of a CRO will face and we wish him all success in his time with us.
