Harrison Clinical Research – Spring Seminar
The Management of Clinical Project Uncertainty, Complexity & Value
Harrison Clinical Research UK (HCR) would like to invite you to attend this complementary meeting on the evening of 26th May at Murray Edwards College (formerly New Hall), Cambridge. The meeting will convene at 5.45pm with tea/coffee for a 6.15pm start. We have two very well respected speakers that have been researching and discussing these topics for many years. This is your opportunity to hear their updated review and analysis of these topics. The presentations will run for approximately 1½ hours in total and will be followed by a buffet and drinks to enable you to continue conversation with the speakers.
Roger Joby – will discuss “Project Uncertainty and the Impact on Value”.
The analysis of uncertainty, rather than risk, enables you to address how Project Management encompasses both positive and negative impacts on time, quality and budget during the lifetime of your study. Roger will relate how these aspects impact upon the Value of the project itself and the services received from 3rd party suppliers in the form of CROs.
Biography of Roger Joby
Stephen Carver – will discuss “Complexities of Project Management”
... in our Industry and how it can be compared to the management of other ‘projects’ from entirely different areas of professional endeavour.
Biography of Stephen Carver
Value is a much under-rated concept in these times of stringent budget constraints when it is sometimes simpler to make a decision based upon the bottom line irrespective of project complexity and comparative performances of potential service providers.
This meeting will also provide an opportunity for you to (re-)acquaint yourself with Tony Dean who will be joining HCR on 1st May as Director Business Development.
If any of your colleagues would be interested to join us in Cambridge on 26th May, please pass on this invitation to them as well.
