Dr. Sonja Weiser, new COO in Munich

Dr. Sonja Weiser has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer (COO) Germany/Eastern Europe of Harrison Clinical Research Germany, in Munich. Dr. Weiser has been with HCR since 2006, when she joined us as Director of Clinical Operations for Germany and later for our affiliate offices in Poland, Ukraine and Russia. In her new position, she will take on overall operational responsibility for all departments in Munich, including the Clinical Unit, Clinical Operations, Data Management and Statistics, Scientific Advice & Scientific Documentation, whilst remaining responsible for our affiliate offices in Poland, Ukraine and Russia.

Dr. Weiser studied Pharmacy at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich and received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the medical faculty of the Walther-Staub Institute for Pharmacology and Toxicology in Munich, in 1999. After working in clinical research for SmithKline Beecham and Glaxo SmithKline, she held senior management positions at Fujisawa GmbH and the European Headquarters of Human Genome Sciences, before joining HCR.
