From Schwechat airport:
Preferably take a taxi as the parking situation in Vienna centre is difficult. Take A4 towards Vienna and after 16 km continue on A23 towards Graz. Take the exit B221 (direction Gürtel and Südbahnhof), continue along Wiener Gürtel - Bundesstraße, Prinz-Eugen Straße and Schwarzenbergplatz, turn left onto Lothringerstrasse, then right into Canovagasse, left into Bösendorferstr., right into Akademiestrasse and again right into Kärntner Ring.
From the airport by public transport - take the CAT train (direct without stops) or S7 train (several stops) to the Landstraße (Wien Mitte) station and from there U4 (direction Hütteldorf) to Karlsplatz (2 stops).
Coming by train:
From Südbahnhof take the underground line U1 from Südtiroler Platz (direction Leopoldau) - 2 stops to Karlsplatz.
From Westbahnhof take underground line U6 (direction Siebenhirten) - 2 stops to Längenfeldgasse and then U4 (direction Heiligenstadt) - 4 stops to Karlsplatz.
From any other train station always take one of the underground lines U1, U2 or U4 to Karlsplatz.
Coming by car:
From the North - coming on B7 take A22 in direction Graz and continue on A23, then the same way as from the airport.
From the East - the same way as from airport.
From the South - coming on A2 take exit towards Wien, Favoriten and continue on A23 and then the same way as from the airport.
From the West - coming on A1, continue along B1 (keep in direction of Zentrum) as far as Schwarzenbergplatz and then the same way as from the airport.
