Twenty years ago until now
- Francisco Harrison
Dr. Francisco Harrison studied medicine in Spain and in the United Kingdom, completing his education in Germany in the area of Neuropharmacology. He founded Harrison Clinical Research in 1987.
It remains today a privately owned company.
Since 1987, we have established offices in the UK (1991), Benelux (1996), Israel (1998), Spain and France (2000), Italy (2002), Austria, serving Eastern Europe (2004) as well as in Russia, Ukraine, Poland (2007) and USA (HCRAmerica, 2008). All our offices offer complete monitoring of all phases of clinical studies, project management and local consultancy.
Our Munich headquarters houses our Phase I Clinic, our Out-Patient Clinic, International Clinical Operations, Data Management and Statistics, Quality Assurance and Auditing, Medical Writing and Business Development. Our Regulatory Affairs department operates out of the UK and we have an affiliate training company in Belgium. We are also able to arrange EU representation for those companies operating outside of the EU and have a range of IMP services.
We offer a full service solution for your clinical research projects, both globally and locally. Our experienced staff provide a strong, dedicated team for your projects in the clinical research area as a completely outsourced project, or as individual tasks, or together with your company staffs. Over the last twenty years we have conducted studies covering all major therapeutic areas and all classes of products.
Flexibility and undertstanding of client needs is a part of our personality as a company. Harrison Clinical Research maintains the closest link to you our customer. Flat hierarchies and smooth processes enable us to operate efficiently and quickly.
We were awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification in 1998 for quality management and we have been re-certified three times, the last time in 2010 when we were also re-classified ISO 9001:2008, after being awarded by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) the gold award for 10 years of certified compliance with ISO 9001. We have an unusually low staff turnover of less than 5%, many of our key staff having been with the company since its earliest history.
We have entered stategic teaming agreements with CROs in USA, Japan, Canada, Scandinavia, India and South Korea and we have partners in Argentina, Hungary, Portugal/Spain and Australia.
